I solved my five years of back pain after discovering an awareness of how my body moves via chains of muscles connected from my toes to my fingers through our fascia. This transformed how I thought about using my body, identifying imbalances and accessing patterns that had been dormant for years. Learning to turn off overactive fascial chains, that are causing pain and contortion in my joints.

My primary goal with my online content is to:

  1. Build your awareness of how your body moves, so you can become more aware of fascial imbalances and where there are chains of muscles you are overusing and where there are chains of muscles you are not using

  2. With this awareness my hope is you will begin to understand how to prevent spasm episodes and major joint pain, recognize when it’s coming on, and develop a gameplan and toolset to help keep you out of chronic pain

  3. Over time you will learn to strengthen weak chains to bring your body back into balance and alignment, and training your brain to activate fascial chains in a more balanced manner

How it works…

We need to incorporate movement throughout our day to utilize ALL our joints and muscles which become inactive and achy if not put to use in the RIGHT way, especially as we age — a standing desk and core activation alone will not solve our problems. You need to learn to listen and communicate from your brain to your entire fascial chains while incorporating new movements throughout your day. Our approach to back pain will evolve the way you think about breathing, stretching, and strength. You will build your knowledge and progress your movements through quick and flexible 5 to 15 minute guided videos that you can slot into your work schedule.

  • You will build your knowledge and progress your movements through quick and flexible 5 or 15 minute guided videos that you can slot into your work schedule two or more times each day. The videos will guide you through mind-body connection and movement exercises, fascial release techniques and stretching, breathing exercises, and build your knowledge to help you alleviate pain and reach peak performance.

  • Our bodies were not meant to work the schedules we do today, where we sit or stand for 8 to 10 hours each day. Latest research suggests we have powerful fascial chains in our bodies, and our dormant lifestyles cause us to lose the brain to body connection. We literally forget out activate all the muscles needed to squat down.

    You’ll find existing solutions try to attack the problems you face via various fascial release, brain and nerve relaxation, and muscle activation and relaxation.

    Many experts will have various ways of attacking all or some of these, but none are helping you reconnect your brain to these powerful muscle chains.

    With Daily Body Floss you get a holistic solution to help you take control of your pain. Back pain is not a quick fix, and not something that you can adjust and expect to alleviate with a one-time fix. Like flossing your teeth, you need to change your lifestyle to maintain your body for the rest of your life.

  • Absolutely. Our lower torso acts as a central repository where all our fascia is connected. We often see clients who unwind pain in one area only to chase it to another part of their body — ranging from their necks to their wrists to their pinky toes. Our approach is holistic in helping you approach your body and unraveling the causes of your pain. You will begin to understand why it’s popping up in your major joints, and how all your muscles and nerves are interlinked and communicating with one another.
